Thermoeyes Instants: Replacement Heat Packs for the Tranquileyes XL Goggle

Need fresh heat packs for your Tranquileyes XL goggle? Thermoeyes Instants are reusable, self-heating gel packs that warm up when you click the disc inside them, so you can replace the packs without replacing the whole goggle. They only fit the XL Tranquileyes goggle.

How Thermoeyes Instants warm up

Each Instants pack holds sodium acetate, a food grade salt water, with a stainless steel disc inside. When you click the disc back and forth, the gel changes from liquid to crystal and gives off heat.

Using the Instants in your Tranquileyes XL goggle

Click the disc until the pack starts to warm. Moisten your fabric pockets, place the Instants into them, and then place the pockets into the back of the goggle.

Resetting the Instants for next time

To use a pack again, boil it in water for the time given on the pack. Boiling turns the crystals back into liquid. Once the pack has cooled to room temperature, it is ready to reuse.

Using the Instants cold

For a cold compress, put the Instants in moistened fabric pockets in the back of the goggle, place the goggle in a self-sealing plastic bag and leave it in the freezer for 15 to 20 minutes.
